Where To Buy Korean Beauty Products in Montréal

Update October 2023: I have found a new kbeauty shop that’s based right in Montreal! They’re called Esmea.ca and they’ve got a great selection of only cruelty-free, vegan and kbeauty beauty products. I found the Needly toner pads (review here), as well as Beauty of Joseon items too (review here)! The shipping was super fast (even to BC).

*Update #2: I’ve compiled a list of my all-time favorite skincare and makeup products as a bridal makeup artist: read here if you’re looking for some recommendations’s!

If you’re in Montreal and in need of some deep skin hydration then keep reading because I have scanned and searched for the best spots in-store and online for all your kbeauty favourites!

I have to say Montreal’s physical store KBeauty market is definitely smaller compared to other cities, however, the realm of possibilities still exists and thankfully, so does online shopping (click here to skip to the online store options)!

Oh, and if there are any other spots you know of please share with your fellow skincare lovers in the comments below!

Online options for buying kbeauty products in Montreal

ESMEA.CA

This is a recent find and I’m so excited to share it with you because Esmea is based right in Montreal! So that means super fast (or as fast as Canada Post can be) shipping!

This shop has a great selection of all vegan, cruelty-free kbeauty products. And I’ve found the Needly toner pads here (review link), which I feel like has been super raved about on YT.

Other brands they carry include: Axis-y, your usual Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Innisfree, Heimish, Pyunkang Yul, Rovectin and some brands I’m not too familiar with as well. Oh! Another surprise is that they carry Ryo Shampoos! If your scalp is in dire need of some TLC, I highly recommend trying their products.

STYLEVANA

This has always been my number one, and trust me I have ordered from here over 5X now in the past two years. StyleVana has always had the best pricing (especially if you’re ordering in bulk). But recently due to all the complaints about customer service etc I really can’t recommend them right now. Purchase at your own discretion =’)).

Their free shipping is Canada-wide on orders of and over $85CAD and takes approx two weeks so if you know everything you need and you love a good deal, this is my top recco!

Note: Take a look at their stock status to see how quickly it will be processed, usually, if it’s “In-Stock” it will be processed and shipped out within 24 hours.

If you’re still playing the field, read below to see other online options that are best suited for Montreal!

SUKOSHI MART

Sukoshi Mart has two physical locations in Toronto, but also a great online option!  Think, one stop shop to skincare, makeup, anime, lifestyle, and snacks.

They provide a 10% off Student Discount which is also a great deal and carry a wide, wide, variety of brands, all the mains as well as A'PIEU, Abib, Banila Co, Dr. Ceuracle, Melano CC, and Round Lab.

Their free shipping is on orders over $65 CAD and supposedly arrives within 2-4 business days in Ontario / Quebec plus they have a rewards system.

YESSTYLE

When it comes to my relationship status with YesStyle I’d definitely hit the “it’s complicated” button. YesStyle really has it all, and I’m not talking just skincare, I’m talking lifestyle, clothing, accessories, bags, footwear, the whole nine yards.

While they have incredible prices, and obviously all the variety and all sales, their free shipping is now at $85 CAD and while they claim orders will arrive in 7-14 business days, it’s really a roulette game.

So, while I have ordered and perhaps one day will re-order from YesStyle, we are currently “on a break”...   Sorry YesStyle, I’m seeing StyleVana atm. :)

THEKSHOP

TheKShop is an e-commerce shop based in Montreal, Canada and is specialized in Korean skincare and cosmetics. Their products are 100% original and imported directly from South Korea. They have a very wide range of products that go beyond the realm of skincare and into hair, nails, and J-Beauty (they carry CANMAKE) as well.

Their large selection of over 50 brands including A'PIEU, BANILA, BE THE SKIN, Beauty of Joseon, Benton,By Wishtrend, COSRX, Etude House,Goodal, Holika Holika, I'M FROM, IUNIK, I’m from, Missha, Pyunkang YUL, SKIN1004, Some By Mi & Sulwhasoo. They also have a really wide clearance section.

Free Shipping on orders over $75 CAD within Canada and US (US custom taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer) and should arrive quickly to Montreal locations.

CHUUSI

Chuusi is an e-commerce company based in Vancouver, BC. They are dedicated to carrying a variety of popular and requested brands as well as introducing their customers to new and emerging names.

Some of the brands they carry include: Heimish, Laneige, Banila Co., Tony Moly, Son&Park, Mizon, Neogen, Pyunkang Yul, J.One, Klairs, Benton and COSRX.

They have free Canada-wide shipping on orders over $60+CAD and a $10CAD flat fee for orders below. Their shipping time varies, however for Ontario and Quebec it says takes 4-5 business days. Full disclosure though I haven’t personally tried shopping here before.

MOONSKYN

While MoonSkyn is its own skincare brand they also carry very popular KBeauty products including COSRX All in One Cream, Beauty of Joseon GLOW Serum, and SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Light Cleansing Oil.

All first time customers receive 10% off their order.

The great option about MoonSkyn is they offer free pickup at their location: 4638A rue de Verdun, Verdun, Quebec which is about 15 minutes from downtown Montreal so if your favourite KBeauty products are featured it may be a great option.

They also provide free shipping on orders over $75CAD or a flat $9CAD fee.

JOLSE

Another popular online option is Jolse. They have a great selection of products, and provide free standard shipping on orders over $50 USD and free express shipping on orders over $80 USD. The shipping times seem to range from two weeks, more or less however there is a chance, as with any online delivery that you may have to cover custom charges.

They have brand and product sales, as well as a sign up option, coupons, promotions and a very in depth notice and FAQ board that updates based off of current inquiries and issues, keeping you informed about changes and your package.

Overall the KBeauty market, while still small, is currently growing (thanks to TikTok). Unfortunately, Montreal’s physical KBeauty presence isn’t as vast as Toronto’s but where they lack in quantity they thrive in quality. The stores that do exist are well-known and loved and you have the chance to find and test your HG products (see my all time recommendations here)!

If I did miss any of your favourite shops, comment them below!

Cheers

~ T
