Where To Buy Korean Skincare in Houston and Austin, TX

Update June 2023: For the best online store option: StyleVana has the lowest minimum ($48USD) for free shipping (and usually always have the best prices). They just take a while to ship and have very unresponsive customer service at times.

*Update #2: I’ve compiled a list of my all-time favorite skincare and makeup products: read here if you’re looking for some recc’s!

If you’ve been learning more about kbeauty lately you’ll know how korean skincare typically are formulated with more natural ingredients and that their philosophy centers around hydration and strengthening the natural skin barrier. Kbeauty products are generally very gentle and have advanced formulations at drugstore prices.

This list will probably continue to get updated (but please also drop a comment if you also come across more brands/stores I haven’t mentioned)! So far I've been able to find some physical locations (and online stores below) in Texas that carry kbeauty products:

Online stores for korean makeup and skincare

Here are my top recommendations if you are to make your purchase online.

1) Amazon

This is my favourite option, but becareful of fakes!! Look for official stores when you can: I’ve found Klairs Official Store, Cosrx’ Official Store, and various well reviewed stores that sell various brands.

2) New favorite online shop: StyleVana

They have a huge selection of korean and japanese skincare and makeup and are my go-to if I can’t find something in stores or just looking for the best prices.

They usually are always cheaper than any other shop but also are always running some sort of sale too.

They carry all the brands mentioned above and new ones like IUNIK, Isntree, Purito, I’m From, Round Lab etc! Free shipping in the US over $48 and is usually a lot faster than YesStyle.

3) YesStyle

YesStyle has a wider selection of both korean and japanese makeup and skincare products, if you can’t find anything from Amazon or StyleVana they will probably have it (they carry Canmake, Etude House and Pony Makeup too)! Shipping is at an atrocious 4 weeks or so but their minimum for free shipping is $49, and usually have 10%-15% off deals and various coupon codes going on so watch for those!

4) Sokoglam has a kbeauty blog that is quite informative. It’s a great place to learn more about products and creating a routine. However, prices tend to be a bit higher compared to other options so make sure you do some comparisons.

5) Glowie co’s branding is so darn cute. They’re independent and operate out of Cali so their shipping times are quite fast. I’ve actually never ordered from them before but they have free shipping over $25 and have a decent variety of brands like Annie’s Way (their jelly masks omgg), Heimish, Heroine Make, DHC, etc.

6) Jolse is another option as well, but they also have an Amazon store so I feel like if you’re ordering from them might as well use the Amazon platform. Their shipping takes a while but has a flat rate of $2.50USD on all orders. They give you lots of free samples and the prices are fairly decent (slightly higher than some other sites but factoring in shipping they’re pretty good when you just need a few items).

7) RoseRoseShop has probably one of the largest selection of the most popular products and are all relatively inexpensive. I’ve never ordered from here before but shipping times looks pretty standard.

8) BeautyNetKorea has the cheapest option various popular kbeauty products. They don’t have a ton of brands and takes a very very long time for shipping apparently.

Did you like this list? Let me know if I've missed anything in the comments below and what your asian beauty picks are! :)
