Best Korean Sheet Masks of 2023

Hi everyone! Here’s are some of my personal favourite asian sheet masks of all time that you can usually find at your local Hmart or T&T in Canada or online!

I’ll include some links too if you can’t find them inn store (I usually always purchase from StyleVana for kbeauty and they ship to Canada)! Please comment too if you have an addition :)!

1. Papa Recipe sheet masks: Bombee Honey Mask

Papa bee making some great recipes ;). These Bombee Honey masks are so moisturizing and have a great fit on the face as well (you can cut them in half for a better fit too). The mask itself is made of a thinner material and has plenty of extra essence. It’s great at brightening the skin and adding a ton of extra hydration and glowyness quickly. It’s a little pricey so I definitely save it for special occasions! Plus the honey-ish smell is beautiful.

* The Rose Gold mask also seemed to have great reviews on both Reddit and Makeup Alley but I’ve personally never tried that one. Keep in mind if you are sensitive to honey or propolis, this won't be for you!

2. Korean sheet mask for acne prone skin: Mediheal Tea Tree Mask

This Seoul-based brand is among one of the top sheet mask brands recently in Korea due to their power-packed formulations and more affordable prices. They have a good fit on the face with a thicker sheet and ample essence in the packaging.

Their Tea Tree Care Solution mask (Amazon link here) in particular is super popular for cooling and soothing any active breakouts and redness. It has centella tea tree leaf oil, pine needle and portulaca oleracea extracts to help control sebum production and soothe dry/irritated skin.

It was a life saver when I was breaking out a bit more in the summer time due to the heat (and wearing more hats). Highly recommend trying this one!

3. Best hydrating sheet mask: Dr Jart Vital Hydra Solution

I first came across this brand when K Beauty launched in Sephoras, is Dr Jart even a real doctor? I don’t know haha. But their cica line has been amazing for my rosacea on my cheeks and for soothing the skin - so they really know what they’re doing!

Their basic sheet masks are all a soft cotton sheet, packed with a ton of serum. The Vital Hydra Solution Mask, is tried and true and has amazing reviews (it’s always more expensive at Sephora so try to find it in store on sale or other kbeauty online retailers)!

I usually see this on sale at T&T for a 5 pack around $18 CAD every 2-3 months so keep an eye out!

Nothing too crazy but this mask won’t dry out very quickly and is very hydrating. If you’re looking for something just as a quick pick me up with not a ton of actives, this is it!

Those are the top recommendations! If you’ve enjoyed this post you might also like to see more of my all-time favourite skincare and makeup products ever!

Here are also some more honourable mentions down below:

4. Lululun Sheet Masks

The Japanese brand Lululun makes great non-fragranced sheet masks. It has multipacks of 5+ sheet masks instead of individually packaged ones so they save a lot of waste. In my opinion, they don’t bring a ton of extra effects when it comes to sheet masks but it’s a good moisturizing/pick-me-up option if you do sheet masks fairly often and want to reduce waste.

5. Best affordable sheet masks: Innisfree

If you’re new to sheet masks or just want to try some fun ones - Innisfree has a variety of different formulas within the different lines. The essence is almost the same look and feel as the My Beauty Diary ones, and has various nourishing, moisturizing and healing properties depending on which flavour of mask you get haha. This might be a good way to try out some sheet masks with different ingredients. It’s A Real Squeeze in Black Berry has a few good reviews online, but there also seems to be complaints of not enough essence, and the cotton mask material itself is of average quality.

So that’s the list so far! I’ll be working my way through it and updating more details as I go. Have you tried any of these? Leave a comment below :)!
